Review on Dorman 751 649 Passenger Regulator Assembly by Adam Boesel

This was the perfect replacement for the original which broke in my 2015 Fiat 500e. It looks the same, fits the same, and works great once I install it. I watched a few YouTube videos and installed it in about an hour. The only difficulty was getting the clip to fully engage the hole in the bottom of the window. In the video, people just roll up the window and it locks completely into place. Mine only got halfway done. But I untied it, moved the window a bit, and then pushed the clip at the back so it goes all the way through the hole. Worked great and is holding up. I know you can only buy one clip (which breaks in these machines) but I couldn't find one. It was easier to just buy a whole new piece of equipment and a new motor. The old one came out with 3 screws and the new one went in. The only surprise was that both the old and the new were in oil. As well as at the bottom of the window where the clip will be inserted. It makes sense, it just wasn't in the videos I've seen online. So bring a towel or gloves. I'll probably buy another one of these if the driver's side clamp breaks anytime soon. Although I would take this brand again.
