This is not the original factory switch but it works great. For the price I'm quite happy with it. The original switch did not allow locking the door when the door was open. It was a feature that prevented you from locking your keys in the door. This switch does not have this function. The feature I love about this switch is closing the windows and sunroof every time you lock the doors. You used to have to use the key in the door to close the windows, which you can still do. You can still open the window by pressing and holding the unlock button on the key. Now I don't have to run out in the rain to close the windows.
