Works like a boss! If it came with a case I would give all 5 stars! So I made my own PVC case for it and it came out great. Dozens of times with this ax, it has maintained its performance and durability. It was not difficult to sharpen, the head did not unscrew, the handle did not suffer. Love the weight grip length and the design that you can take anywhere and get the job done reliably! I sanded the hickory handle and dyed it a shade darker to bring out the beauty of the hickory, then glued the handle halfway down and applied a few coats of polyurethane to the section next to the ax for extra protection. I love this ax!
