First, I spend about 50-60% of my time in the aero position. The problem is that with a good aerodynamic position on the bike you're going to have a terrible vertical position when riding on the hood. In fact, there is no middle ground. This seatpost is the answer! I also switched to a split saddle because a typical road bike saddle wouldn't be comfortable with that seatpost; especially in the aero position. Needless to say I love it. I can change position by bringing my hips together and pulling up. I go from street to aero in no time! The investment is really worth it.
