Review on Timeless Elegance: Gullor Vintage Handmade Signature Pens by Jessica Lewis

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks good, writes well, feels a little small in the hand

holds the ink well and gives a good, even line (sometimes a little thicker) for much longer. I expect. The color and pattern on the glass is very attractive (reminds me of the glass paperweights my grandma used to collect) and a lot more stylish than the shiny ones that are more common out there. I prefer the look of a large lightbulb with straight channels at the top of the "tip" but they don't provide a straight line to write on. The edges of the nib were quite sharp, making it very scratchy when writing. I fixed this very easily with a small sheet of ultra-fine Emory sandpaper/cloth (1200 grit). I placed a piece of sandpaper on the surface of the table and gently ran the tip over it, turning the handle. After a few swipes, the edge smoothed out and was much more comfortable afterwards. Be careful not to overdo it. I should note that this pen is smaller than I expected (although it's actually not much smaller than advertised). All of this fits in my hand. Mine is 7.25 inches long, which is a little shorter than advertised, but for some reason I was expecting it to be a bit heavier. It's not a problem, just make sure you know what you're getting.
