I bought this cable to use with a Cortelco Kellogg 2500 desk phone with Rd phone cords with Vol Cntrl and it works great. It has standard modular handset jacks and should work with any other phone with standard modular handset jacks. Another reviewer noted that the cord is too short. I believe 12 feet refers to the length of the wire before it is wrapped. It would be impractical to stretch it to 12 feet. This cord easily stretches up to 6 feet without taking the phone off my desk. It stretches at least 8 feet, but drags the phone across the table. If you need a cable longer than 12ft, please buy a 25ft cable.
