The item was good, I'll recommend it to my friends.

I used it with iPhone 8 and iPad Air 2 tablet. It’s more convenient with a tablet in a boat (the screen is just bigger), with a smartphone it’s more convenient from the shore. The smartphone is attached to the rod with the help of special rubber bands in the kit. According to my purely personal feelings, when switching to a wide beam, the sensitivity of the echo sounder decreases. In winter, it quickly allows you to look through several holes and find the most promising, and not sit near one waiting for a bite. In general - a great thing to help the angler!

: I received a waterproof “case” for my smartphone as promised as a gift (see photo). Threw it in the trash right away! It seems to me that Deeper should be frankly ashamed of making such inappropriately cheap gifts to people who bought their device for more than 22,000. Just a shame!

Pros

Very high quality item! It's just nice to hold. In terms of functionality, I liked the compactness, the absence of wires, a convenient case, ease of use, the possibility of long-range "reconnaissance" of a reservoir just from the shore, which is impossible with a conventional echo sounder. Reasonably fast Wi-Fi connection.

Cons

Does not show the size of the fish (this is sad). There was no orange cover in my kit - I need to take care of buying it. On long casts, even with a little roughness, it tends to lose connection. I read somewhere recently that this happens when mobile data is turned on on a smartphone, especially if the cellular network signal is weak (a typical situation outside the city). Next time I'll try turning off mobile data.
