Introduction A quick overview that will set you on the right path if you are going to play 4k @ 120hz fps games. VA panels have an issue with ghosting (blurry when moving, you lose clarity during the action and everything becomes blurry and distracting). The solution to this is called "Overload Mode" and this panel has 3 settings (Off, Normal and Extreme). If you want to play faster action games (from the fast-paced Doom Eternal to something as slow as Hell Let Loose) then the Extreme setting is the only way to do it. Otherwise, you'll still notice enough ghosting to write a review about it. Problem Via Display Port 1.4 the overdrive setting is locked to a normal level and there is nothing you can do to change this (confirmed by Acer support). You can unlock it with HDMI, but since it's 2.0 and NOT 2.1 you're locked into 60Hz. if your graphics card/computer can only run at 60 fps. If you have a better computer and want to run at higher 4k frame rates when playing FPS games, this isn't for you.
