Amazon Basics So so scissors: my truthful feedback

Hello dear Otzovitchers! I decided to buy myself new scissors, I haven't done it for a long time. There are a lot of them at home, but they all either cut badly or are a nightmare, which are uncomfortable. I made a choice in a stationery store and it fell on these Kores scissors. I didn’t know anything about it, so I was guided by price and form. I preferred inexpensive scissors with an ergonomic handle and long cutting parts. This is what they looked like the day I bought them. The main part is made of stainless steel, everything is as it should be. The brand is Austrian, but the product itself is made, of course, in the People's Republic of China. The handle has a comfortable shape. But the material from which it is made is plastic. She rubs her hands when working for a long time. Therefore, next time I will choose scissors with a soft handle. Well, now I’ll tell you how long they have served me. A month and a half later, all this time I cut the parts for the mini chest of drawers, which I talked about here, their handle cracked. Apparently it was impossible to plan 2 mm cardboard ... The connecting bolt also loosened. The handle had to be sealed, and I can’t fix the quality of the connection. Now they are like this. The scissors have not lost their first-class sharpening and continue to cut normally. But I think if you let them go on an extreme hike on thick cardboard again, they will no longer survive. And so do I, as a matter of fact. In such cases, a cutter comes to the rescue. I can only recommend scissors for cutting cardboard, paper, fabric... small thicknesses. And so, they fully justified their price of 50 rubles.
