Replaced my smaller digital thermometer because I keep dropping it in the food I'm cooking. This new one is the perfect size. Ergonomically comfortable to hold. The probe folds up for easy storage and certainly helps to keep it stable and prevent accidental breakage. The buttons are simple, not complex. Prepares food quickly and correctly. The probe tip measures immediately as soon as you touch the object. Thank you for choosing AAA batteries as they are much easier to find and replace compared to those pesky little button batteries. .
