Oil leak fixed

If you have an oil leak, this could be a problem. My leak got worse and I thought it was the oil pan gasket. I have found that it leaks heavily after the car is parked but does not flow while the car is running. Oil leaked from the plug (wire) attached to it. After the replacement the oil leak was completely gone. Make sure you replace it when the car is cold as it is next to the exhaust pipe and you can burn your hands. FYI, the oil leak started at about 90,000 miles and I replaced it at 104,000 if I had known it was just that switch I would have replaced it sooner. This is also AC Delco, I prefer to only use original parts.

Pros
  • GM recommended replacement part for your GM vehicle's original factory component
Cons
  • Annoying
