I am using Arduino 1.8.13 to program ESP32 boards. Work. I then tried the new camera board on my old TTL programmer. That didn't work either - no reaction from the camera. To make sure my TTL setting works well I tested one of the other camera boards and it worked fine. In short, not a single programmer sees the new camera board. So my conclusion is that the new camera is dead. I also tried using the serial monitor via the programming board on both the new camera board and my old camera board - all I got was the board not being available. So my conclusion is that the programming board is also bad. I also tried two different USB ports on my computer (USB 2 and USB 3.1). My old TTL programmer worked fine with a good camera board on any type of USB port. I cannot recommend this device.
