I have only used this once to mount a photo frame that I was making. Sent it back shortly after due to quality issues with the ratchet. Pros: - long 15ft length will come in handy - comes with 4 steel grommets to keep it on your belt. Cons: - The ratchet is upside down compared to normal. This meant the ratchet could not be fully closed without tightening the belt more. The part that engages the teeth of the ratchet and must be pulled back to loosen the strap keeps getting stuck, making the ratchet impossible to actually use. I had to constantly force the bar to return to its place. There are better band clamps for less money than Irwin.
