This is a cat feeder that connects to the home wifi, and is controlled with a phone app. I already had the SmartLife app installed on my phone and the feeder connected to it and everything works well.It's very easy to set a schedule on the app for multiple feed times during the day and how much food to dispense. You can also do a manual feed with the app from anywhere that you have a wifi connection. overall the app works well.I would definitely recommend a wifi feeder over a non-wifi feeder. Setting and changing schedules on the non-wifis can be a big hassle.The feeder has a built-in camera that shows the area directly in front of the feeder. When the cat is feeding, you don't see much of anything, because the cat is pretty much right up against the camera lens blocking it. Not that useful of a feature. A separate nanny cam would be more useful.The feeder has a screw-on top that installs and removes easily and is secure. I don't see a rubber seal, so I don't think it's airtight. I don't think food will remain fresh like it would in a tupperware jar.Overall I like this feeder. I only wish the portion size was a little smaller. One portion is a little too much for my cat.
