It sits perfectly on the edge of my back desk, within reach but not in the way. I think that due to the many styles for different brands of devices, we all probably need different ends of the charging cable. I just plugged in 4 of my most used chargers and left them there, they just plug in to charge. My cats can't rip anything off my desk as the clip is tightened enough to fit my desk top. Cats can play with lines, although they are fairly short and lose interest in most cases. It came with 4 short cables which was a nice touch but not all types of cable ends fit the numerous devices we all have I guess. I would buy it again if my bedside table had a lip to attach it to.
