I came across this product because I had 3 slow tire leaks on my Rav4. Tired of filling up every few days, I went to the local gas station. All the leaks turned out to be around the TPMS valves and I was told if they broke they cost me $60 to service, but often they break and cost about $200 each to replace. Wow. Long story short I was able to fix a bunch of right rear leaks and a replacement ($3 each) and I had the right front brake when it was removed so a new TPMS is $38. In the end I did everything myself - excellent videos on Youtube about it. There is one piece left. The new sensor had to be injected into my car's ECU. I saw great reviews about this software and DiagKing cable and decided to go with it. I'm pretty tech savvy so I tried to install it myself but I could find that it didn't work (obviously not decently enough!). So I installed Team Viewer and emailed DiagKing. Response was immediate and due to the time difference, an online meeting was scheduled for the following evening. After emailing at the agreed time that evening that I was ready, a technician was on hand within minutes. He had to uninstall what I did and then reinstall the software. The whole process took about 25 minutes, after which he explained that everything was ready and had to be tested. It was 10:30pm my time so I checked the next day. I Success! I was able to re-enter all the sensors (it's a must, I can't just do one) including the new one (which triggered the warning light on the dash as the ECU wasn't reading it now) in less than 5 minutes. Everything works perfectly! A few notes: I was using an old laptop with Win XP and to install the software I uninstalled the antivirus software and disabled the firewall. Right after that I turned the firewall back on and DiagKing said I can use the antivirus again if I'm not using the software, so I reinstalled it. I used it to install TPMS codes, disabled my antivirus and wifi, then enabled both. The firewall remained enabled, but caused no problems. Youtube has great videos for many of Techstream's features, including re-entering TPMS codes. It is very helpful if you replace the TPMS, documenting the code(s) printed on the old and replaced and the specific tire location prior to the recoding process, otherwise you will need to go back to the TPMS to obtain the code. In my case I installed service kits on the spare and right rear wheel and also installed a new TPMS on the right front wheel. Knowing the codes, I was able to identify everyone in this software. In the software you can see all 5 ID codes, tire pressure and temperature of each one. but no, Toyota does not recognize which sensor is in which tire in the Techstream! I haven't scratched the surface of what this software can do, but so far I'm really happy with it. I expect it will be extremely valuable in the future. DiagKing gets the point across in their product description and their support/response time is excellent! For about $110 (2 service kits, 1 new TPMS, this DiagKing Techstream software and cables) I saved $4-500. This product and support is 5 stars. I gave 3 stars for "easy to install" because I don't think it will be easy for the average person. but DiagKing makes it easy! And also. God bless YouTube!
