This is the second one I have bought. I bought the first one about a year ago and had a general problem with them. They keep turning on and off about every 3 seconds. I tried adding check valves but it didn't help at all so I figured it should be ok. The first one eventually died and I thought I'd give it another chance. I installed a new one and it started doing the same thing, turning on and off every 3 seconds. Then I thought maybe it doesn't have enough back pressure, which is causing either the internal check valves to leak a little, or the pressure gauge isn't showing a stable reading, so I bought a bladder tank. (iSpring T32M Reverse Osmosis Pressurized Water Tank with Ball Valve, 4 gallon, 1/4" valve included to be exact) Now it works GREAT! and filled the 4 gallon bladder tank.
