The only major disqualifying factor in purchasing is resource competition and loss of functionality in other computer USB ports of *any* speed, and I haven't installed it in my 15 gear , trying to hold out for a few more years. I'm not talking about just "grinding" into the metal when it's positioned correctly, I'm saying you have to put in some effort to get through the hole in the slot. THIS SUSPENDS THE INSTALLED CARDS MATCHING THE HOLE OF THE ENCLOSURE. I couldn't even tighten the thumbscrew that secures this card to the case UNTIL I HAVE CONNECTED ALL THE INTENDED USB DEVICES.3. Supplied with drivers on CD. In earnest. 7 years older than the drivers that Windows 10 installs by default (2012 and 2019). Do not install drivers from the CD. Do not buy this card.
