Review on AdirPro 14-Inch Chaining Pin Set (11 Pieces) by Gregory Braddock

These pins are not of the design quality I expected compared to the pins used in the past. They also can't compete with well-designed chain pins. I think that whoever designed them was not engaged in geodetic work at all. This is evident in many aspects of pen design. • The tip is too blunt. You need something sharper to use in all ground conditions. • The pin needs to be slightly thicker in diameter to make it stronger. Maybe steel is better? • The ring should almost touch the shaft so that the pin does not fall out of the "chain ring" and leather case. Of course, this only mattered when man tried to measure great distances the old-fashioned way many years ago.
