Well, the heater operates effectively and warms the room. That said, it's pretty loud--and there's no "low" setting for the fan--you can only change the heat level. The temperature settings are arbitrary (59, 77, 86, 95) and in any case don't reflect the actual room temp. At 77, the heat turns off quite soon, while the room is still cold and the fan continues to blow cool air; later the heat returns. You could pick a higher temperature and it would stay on longer. The remote control did not work well. It came with the battery installed upside down, but after I fixed that, the remote power button still doesn't turn the heater on or off--I have to use the button on the heater to do that. Safety features are effective; the heater turns off immediately if tipped over or it isn't level. Also good that the fan cools the heater for a while after you turn the power off. But the noise level is higher than I like: it would be hard to sleep through.
