Review on Gorilla Automotive 31137B Acorn Bulge by Robert Lee

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Cheap and good at nuts and accessories

These nuts were originally supplied to me by Tirerack with a set of fairly expensive wheels (SSR III) in 2010 and after 4 years of use and frequent tire balancing ( every 3000-4000km, so about 3-4 times every summer) very well kept. The coating has not peeled off or corroded. They're also the smallest you can get in a hex, meaning that with tight rim hubs you're much less likely to scratch the surface of the rim while loosening the nuts. I had no luck with one nut, the mechanic used a recalibrated 17mm allen wrench, which is why I bought these nuts through Revain. I wish the supplier stocked more, I wanted 20 at first but now I'm happy with what I have.
