Difficult to set up with multiple computers.

Connecting devices is easy. The USB connection cable is very short, but I was able to use it with my HP 2300 without an extension cable. The device itself is about the size of a pack of cigarettes, and the thin power cord was long enough to reach the floor. It fits in the cavity of a 2300 sized port, but the super short pigtail might be a problem for others. I was expecting to set it up like any other network printer, but it was pretty clear that you had to run the included installer. Settingโ€ฆ

Type works well for computers and accessories

The documentation that came with the device and the online system for setting it up are obviously translations of translations. Broken sentences and bad grammar make this device difficult to set up. Another big problem is that the connected computers must have drivers installed for the printer they are working with. A real print server does not. The supported drivers appear to be the same list of drivers for printers that can already print over Wi-Fi. My Brother laser printer doesn't have WiFi,

Works right out of the box. Fingers crossed for a small problem

So I'm usually suspicious of print servers. Even those associated with TP. I used to pocket them and they often fell out. I was surprised to see how easy it was to set up. The hard drive found everything at once. You must have a computer with a WiFi adapter to set this up. A word of caution, you MUST have printer drivers in your computer. Even though they were installed on the same computer, I reinstalled them (DELL 1130) and everything worked beautifully. Another issue that worries me is theโ€ฆ

It works, but it's not without bugs

I bought this to replace a TRENDnet wireless print adapter that wasn't working with Mac OS X 10.11.5. This server works with both my Mac and my PC (Windows 10). I prefer TRENDnet because you don't have to run a separate "utility" on your computer every time you want to print (this is the part TRENDnet hasn't updated for the new Mac OS). to warn you about the following: :1) The installer didn't work very well and it took me a while to figure out what was going on so I could help.
