It is much "more powerful" than other nets I have received. The cord seems almost twice as thick as other nets, not much less. The hooks are a good size although they don't go around my back so it's a bit annoying. They stretch, I'm not sure if it's 30 inches. I mean, you probably CAN stretch them, but they'll crush whatever you're holding. So make sure it's something that can be flattened like a backpack, clothing, etc. It holds the helmet in place, but again, the cords that go through the face shield are a bit tight in my opinion, that's really borderline . This net has a really strong cord built into it that will hold anything you place underneath in place. I hope they make a larger size as I want one for my luggage that even stretches it won't get around, just too big. Overall a really well made, solid net with strong hooks. , feel of quality and I expect it to last much longer than other chains. The 2x2 mesh is also why it feels so strong, most other meshes have thinner cords and 3x3 or even 4x4 which is more like 8x8 when stretched. and things can slip out, become unprotected. Will update if there are any issues affecting my rating but I have to give 5 stars despite my own issues as they are not related to how this product works, how it is built etc... for your own needs it may be absolutely being perfect in every way.
