D batteries took over 12 hours to charge. I know they have a large capacity, but that's a lot of time. Besides, why would anyone need a battery drain feature? Strange attitude. It should either load or not. But this thing has a discharge setting. ***Update: The charger has been working fine for a while. Live that it charges my aaa on D. However, it has since started blinking on a port with no battery. Since this looks like a bug and most likely a failure of that charging port, I'm replacing it with another charger from a different brand. This charger has never been dropped or removed from its location. Connected and disconnected only as needed for charging. The supplied batteries are still fully functional and only the charger has failed. Since the charger has failed, I remove one barrel and leave 2 for batteries.
