Review on Midland HH54VP Portable Emergency Weather by Josh Sheehan

I had high hopes of using this weather radio with my fifth wheel. I wanted the battery to run during the day and the plug-in to run at night. I even bought rechargeable batteries, thinking they would charge at night. I'm currently waiting for the support team to contact me, but it's been about a week and there's no communication. The customer service phone number gives an email address to contact but is not responding. The problem is that in about 3 days the device sucks 3 AA batteries and the "charger" doesn't charge my batteries and the device doesn't work. Plug-in only, so bottom line, it only works on 3 AA batteries, which have to be constantly replaced because the 'charger' won't charge. I connected a voltmeter to the charger and it reads 15 volts, but the device still doesn't work. Is it a charger or is it a block? I don't know because they don't answer my emails. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
