I'm finally writing my review. I received this radio on March 25, 2013. My battery still has a charge. I just ordered a replacement battery just to have it. I am a Skywarn storm observer. and this radio is very handy to have. Haven't let myself down yet by warning of dangerous conditions. It stays with me along with my light detector. Product received, tested and found no issues. Turned it on and the battery was already charged so I was able to quickly complete the setup process. Plugged in and left overnight. Was woken up by a storm warning so the weather alert function worked great. I took the device off the charging station after about 18 hours (still showing charging) and took it across town. He died about 20 minutes after charging. Brought it home, recharged it, rebuilt it and left it all day - it still says "charging".
