Review on Midland HH54VP Portable Emergency Weather by Rod Evans

The radio works well and has clear reception in our area and has so far managed the few bad weather warnings we have received. We haven't had a chance to test how this works on a trip. The design specs seem to make it a very useful and reliable device. As noted and discussed in some other posts, the power supply is defective. In order not to have to experience an unpleasant surprise in an emergency in the future, I decided to check the device with a voltmeter. On the advice of several other reviewers I decided to head straight to Midland for a replacement rather than messing around with Revain or the seller. I thought Midland now knew they had problems with these things. I'll likely update this review when I get a response from the manufacturer.
