Honestly, that's a great value. The galvanic plate is quite heavy, I used it to iron a 3D print and used it for quite a long time, 20-30 minutes, completely dry and intact, it blew off the coating, the tip did not peel off and is not oxidized that much that it was deformed. Cheaper tips have smaller heads than this one. They're sharp, with nice, even edges, and heat up quickly. They transfer heat well and are easily wetted. I had to use acidic solder paste for one of my projects and I hate doing it. Especially with rosin flux solder as there is usually at least some pitting between the rosin and acid. They did nothing of the kind and behaved normally. I was not paid or reimbursed for this review. I'm used to cheaper tips, they look the same in the photos and have a similar shape, but they are longer, heavier and more resistant to mishandling, with better coverage and good solder adhesion and heat transfer. I desoldered the chisel tip power supply and it quickly pooled at 450C, cooled quickly on the sponge, re-silvered and didn't suffer. Two test uses and a full project later and the wedge still has no dimples anywhere along the surface. I'll try to post a photo later of one of the cheaper types I see for sale.
