Review on 🔍 Enhanced Spectre Performance 9405 3-Inch Aluminum Mass Air Flow Sensor Kit for Maximum Engine Efficiency (SPE-9405) by Vincent Bain

First of all I want to say that theoretically this is an excellent product. It's inexpensive, versatile, and practical, but it falls short in terms of application. Complaints: 1) The product is made of soft aluminium, I was expecting a stronger aluminum or preferably stainless steel. 2) Welds are fine, but the screws provided are not long enough to mount the adapters. I had to use screws from my MAF sensor to mount the adapter to the sensor plate. This of course reworked the sensor plate as the thread was different. It worked, but it was a surprise to see such misuse of materials. 3) The finish is sharp and harsh, I expected them to round or at least smooth the ends. One end actually cut into my filter when attaching. 4) A bit fussy, but I would appreciate a mounting loop welded to the adapter to attach the filter to the fender or other mounting points on the car. Despite all that, the adapter fit the MAF sensor for my 2009 Subaru Legacy and the short air intake worked. This product is suitable for those looking for a budget option, but I will be returning the product and going for a more expensive/cleaner option. .
