Review on 📶 TP-Link TC-W7960 DOCSIS 3.0 300Mbps Wireless Cable Modem Router for Comcast XFINITY, Time Warner Cable, Cox Communications, Charter Spectrum by Tom Duncan

I have a Mediacom with 100Mmps service. Works great for about two months, no problems. I was ready to write a rave review and give it 5 stars! Then the problems started. Devices keep disconnecting from the wireless connection. While streaming on Roku or Firestick, the show just stops, tries to load, and then it says "Lost Connection". I need to restart my router and reconnect my streaming stick to the wireless network. This happens at intervals of about 12 to 15 minutes. So if you're used to watching TV with commercial breaks, you might be fine with this router and periodically reconnecting to WiFi. I will find some other people with the same problem for this model. The same goes for Chromebooks, Xbox, tablets and phones. Even when I'm home alone and the only device connected to Wi-Fi is my phone, it randomly turns off. Sometimes the router just restarts on its own. This is normal for wired connections. There are no problems at all. But who uses more cables? I connected my smart TV and then my work laptop to test it and see if the connection was wireless or just tethered. No, the cable works perfectly. On the other hand, I was able to work from home all day without connection problems when connected to the network.
