I bought this thinking I had a concrete block wall (hollow internal cavities). When I drilled the pilot hole, I found that the blocks were filled with poured concrete (so it was a solid concrete wall). The drill head worked fine. None of the incisors are broken or worn. However, this bit is probably best used for non-solid concrete walls since you can only cut 2-3 inches deep without having to drill a hole. And when you get to the other side of the wall, it's almost impossible to line up the hole exactly (like starting a tunnel from two sides of a mountain and trying to meet right in the middle). I landed in the hole with a small angle. If you have a solid concrete wall, a core drill is best (although it's a lot more expensive). This drill is excellent value for money.
