Very strong

I bought this thinking I had a concrete block wall (hollow internal cavities). When I drilled the pilot hole, I found that the blocks were filled with poured concrete (so it was a solid concrete wall). The drill head worked fine. None of the incisors are broken or worn. However, this bit is probably best used for non-solid concrete walls since you can only cut 2-3 inches deep without having to drill a hole. Exceeded my expectations

I bought this hole saw to make a curb cut for a French drain. I was hoping it would hold an inch of cut so I could have a clean look and expected to have to use a ton of smaller holes and a jackhammer to complete the cut. It survived the initial pruning well. I then decided to drill some 1/4" drain holes around the perimeter and some 5/8" holes in the center to drain the sump on the other side of the curb. This had the added benefit of supplying cooling and flushing water to the saw. It took…

  • Very expensive

Good for the price but broken.

I bought these because I needed to drill TWO holes in a brick wall to clear a 2" DWV pipe and saw no point in buying a durable, high quality drill saw if that's all what i need them for Perfect fit, BTW. Now I can't use it much anyway as it has a huge defect and I can never fix and rebuild the pilot bat if it breaks. The pilot is held in place by a machine screw as an adjusting screw. I imagine how not smart it is to go around a broken brick with a rotating hole saw. Of course it broke…
