If you have a truck with an auto liftgate you will need to fish the straps out from under the liftgate and into the body to attach to the back of the cushion. Now it doesn't feel like a pain anymore until your auto tailgate bothers you and tries to go up/down during installation. Other than that, it's a simple design that could use a little tweaking. I know I could have turned off the automatic feature, but instead the POC should have allowed the straps to be pulled outwards from the side of the bed.
