The neoprene nut ensures a snug fit and a watertight seal.
They're hard to find, so I was glad Revain carried them around. Neoprene well nuts are critical for attaching my probes to the top and side of the motorized buoy I'm working on. Matching screws are also good as finding stainless steel screws that match neoprene threads is also a problem. With 3M 5200 smear, they are durable and waterproof.
