BEWARE! The main body of this monitor is made of lightly textured PURE WHITE plastic. It is not mentioned or shown in any picture. The white case doesn't match the black frame of the monitor or the silver stand. If the wall you are mounting or placing the monitor on is not white, it will stick out. Plus, it has texture and is sure to pick up fingerprints and dust smudges on its rough surface. By simply lifting the device with my hands, I left small marks that could not be completely removed without a cleaning spray. It was a bad idea to back a great product. Think of it as an outfit: silver pants with a black shirt and white jacket. To update. I decided to plug in the device and see if I can get past the ugly one, maybe I'm too picky with the white case. The monitor is excellent, no complaints, beautiful, fantastically clear picture, great player. The sound is flat and lifeless, my Bose portable sounds better. He comes back.
