After evaluating and comparing several network scanners on the market, I chose the Plustek eScan as it is the most affordable model with network capabilities. I like this scanner for its simple and clean interface. I didn't need any settings, I was able to scan documents right out of the box. Everything works fine and I was able to create quick buttons which did an absolutely great job of completing my one-step scanning tasks. The support team was very helpful (I'm calling because I want to delete some of the quick buttons I created, it turned out I just had to long press the buttons and drag them to the trash. It works just like a tablet ). The customer service reps also gave me extra tips on how to organize my hotkeys, which is excellent! I can change the start menu to a shortcut menu, as I have a team of people working on the scanner, the menu allows my team to find the appropriate scan button without having to go to other menus. I was thinking about buying another device, the support staff showed me how to replicate the settings on my current device to another, which is an amazing feature. Although it would be even better if I could edit or duplicate the shortcut keys on the scanner myself, but I can create them quickly so it's not that big of a deal. I would recommend this machine to anyone who is not tech savvy!
