Best update I've ever done. I drive a 2003 Ford Expedition and share it with co-workers. I work in the mountains, the roads are very steep with many twisty hairpin bends. The factory brakes were red hot at the end of my descent when I had to follow hikers, even with engine braking. With this update, there was no deterioration in the brakes, nor the classic overheated brake smell. It's a big car and compared to the old brakes it stops a penny now, maybe even saved my family's life when a bad driver went right over the stop sign.
