Lektron makes a good product; I would recommend it. We use it to charge our PHEV in about 3 hours (the maximum the car can take) - it used to take over 10 hours with the level 1 charger (standard socket) that came with the car. You need to install a special 220V 30A socket or plug it into the dryer socket like we did. Just note that you won't be able to turn on the dryer while the car is charging if you do this.
