METAL SHAVINGS INSIDE, avoid! See pic
I just got this Lincoln 1162 grease gun, I screwed on the hose, put on the air nipple and was about to put the grease cartridge in. Thank goodness I decided to look inside the pump head. METAL SHAVINGS in the head and around the piston! I don't know what's going on in Lincoln, but they almost cost me my industrial CNC machine. If I pumped these metal shavings into these roller and linear bearings, my CNC would collapse with thousands of dollars in damage. My business would suffer too! I can only imagine what could happen if these metal shavings got into any part of a car or trailer. .
