I have Milwaukee and CH Hanson C-Clamps. I never liked the original Irwin Vice clips because of the short little knurled knob at the end that made adjustment difficult and intermittent. This is my new version of C clamps. The unlocking mechanism is the same as CH Hanson's (currently Armor-Tool), so it's easy to operate, not by pushing but by pushing or pulling, which is much better. Milwaukee clamps are the compression type, so they are not that easy to use. The set screw is longer. Because the grooves are only horizontal, they're much easier to turn by hand, as opposed to the smaller knob, which requires too much pressure and is uncomfortable for me to use. The diameter seems larger but I can't verify it. The extra hole in the screw helps me keep track of how tight I'm tightening the clamp and I can e.g. B. tighten with a screwdriver. This feature is similar to the adjustment screws on the Milwaukee C-Clamp. The adjustment screw has a lock nut which I find useful. My Milwaukee clamps loosen over time as long as they keep the correct tension on the same component. Last but not least, these clips are well done. This clamp has more weight than other 11 inch clamps. Photos don't convey it properly. The main tie rods are reinforced and designed for strength. My other cleats are loose and wobble from side to side, make noises etc. The cleats are strong and smooth and these are the best cleats I have ever felt. I recommend these clamps to all other manual C clamps.
