I bought this to use with a hand tap for home gunsmithing. Before this product, I used other threading and cutting oils and broke tap after tap. I figured maybe the cheaper faucets were the problem, so I bought faucets from more expensive, well-known brands and they broke every time. I'm glad I read about this product in a forum discussion where others have posted about the same issue. I haven't had any issues since I switched to Tap Magic. Still using the same hand tap, I made about 12 front and rear spigots with ease.
