Great product as described, I use it to hold my flashlight. I created an additional bracket with hose segments and a double connector. I just had to create a new Xtra flashlight mount. Now I have one with a magnetic base and another that can be used in all other places.

Very strong, fairly easy to assemble. People who say you need a special tool (sold separately) to assemble and disassemble the segments are either trying to get them out of the straight position or they just have weak hands. If you bend them 90 degrees and squeeze them, they'll pop out of the little balls right away.

I also used this to make helping hands. A 1/4 inch connecting cord is screwed into a drilled and cut cutting board, the mounting cord snaps into place and a small alligator clip is attached to the free end. I currently have five helping hands coming out of a small cutting board. The cutting board was drilled and then threaded from 1/4" to 18 NPT using this tap.
