Misterminated cable
When terminating the LMR-400 (or other RF cable), the braided shield in the cable must reach the notch on the connector shell. The ring is used to attach the connector to the cable. Unfortunately, whoever terminated the ends of this cable didn't, and the cable slipped out of the connector. DO NOT DISCONNECT THESE CABLES. I've had connection problems for a few weeks. Turns out what was holding the end of the cable was heat shrink tubing. Complete nonsense. UPDATE: Still no contact with seller. Buy RF cables literally anywhere.
