EASY to attach cleats

I've been cycling for decades and these are the easiest to attach cleats I've ever used. I used toe clips and straps, then look cleats, time cleats, then SPD Shimano. I've found that SPD pedals can be a real headache when trying to fit them onto a city bike where you're constantly getting on and off while going from one set of lights to the next. There's nothing more annoying than trying to get out of a dead end at an intersection and walk across that intersection while your foot fumbles to get back on the spikes. The spring-loaded cleat alignment mechanism works *exactly* as advertised by Funn. Cleaning is immediate and intuitive. Your boot goes right in and *clicks* before you know it. You don't have to look down and get your feet right. After all, it's an instant, mindless process that I have to repeat a dozen times with each step of my daily commute into town. Unlocking is also easy and intuitive. VR with original Shimano cleats, not the ones that came with the pedals) didn't seem to care if I used them. The pins leave no traces on the sole of the shoe. Tip: If you don't like the idea of Funn's signature pins and signature wrench on a piece that's meant to be scraped off and possibly stuck in the pedal forever thanks to that signature shape. . The pins are regular M4 size so you can use a regular M4 head for a large blunt pin or buy a bag of M4 set screws and now you have a bag of cheap generic replacements. Choose 16mm set screws: one on each side threads together, fills a common hole going through the pedal, and is slightly longer than the standard pins. Or use 14mm screws for a shorter pin extension.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled
