This is NOT a square: Carpenter's Squares

easily and firmly. Since it's so small it's quite surprising that it's so crooked... I haven't measured it yet, but compared to 4 with the other squares I have around it, it came out at about 32. out after just a few inches around the same amount on each one so I'm pretty sure that's the one that's out.... Pretty useless I'd say and not worth going back... I'll test it with my precision instruments at some point, but even on a speed square it clearly fails and it's by no means a critical test.

  • Correct Size: This linear square is 4 inches in diameter, the base is 2.5 inches long, the long side is 0.12 inches thick, and the base is 0.5 inches thick; The right size ensures that the measurement data is accurate and also allows you to hold the ruler
