Review on πŸ—οΈ 1 Gallon White EPDM Rubber Roof Coating - Dicor RPCRC1 by Matt Watson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great roof waterproofing. Easy to use and apply. + 1 gallon made my 17 foot hybrid.

I have previously used dicor self-leveling sealer to replace vents and dicor non-sag for trim and seams and to create a condensation/rain channel. from the price of the apartment. I woke up early and scrubbed the roof with a soft car wash brush, warm water, and dish soap in a blue dawn. I then used the high pressure nozzle on my garden hose and really hosed everything down until the water was clear, no more gray water or visible particles. Then I used a soft bristle broom and brushed off the water. And towel dried stains with a little buildup, I waited for everything to dry, about 40 minutes on an 80 degree day. the roller hissed as it rolled, applying more paint. Wait until it's dry enough to continue walking. I went over the edges and trimmed with a 2" brush. Layer 2 I applied thicker. Then another top coat 3 was applied, it was thick, then the remaining piece was used to apply to the areas of water retention and seams .All in all it took about 5 hours with a few breaks and even a run to my LHS to get more paint thinner. These things have a weird smell. Like industrial dumb putty. It's greasy. Like honey or cold maple syrup. Easy to operate. It won't work if you don't water too much. Keep mixing and you won't have a gallon of skin. When you take a break, cover it with a wet t-shirt or rag to keep it from drying out. If you working from a jar, place the spout latch on the lid. It keeps the jar clean when you move it. This material cleans up easily with paint thinner and a good microfiber cloth own. A+ would buy it again!
