Ease of use - Roofing

It was a very easy process. Worst was 5 minutes of stirring, if that's saying anything. Goes on so smoothly and looks great when it's on. It dries fairly quickly, making it easy to glue two sides in a couple of hours.

Excellent goods. Included photos begin with after coating and .

Excellent product. The attached photos start with after coating and then show what the trailer roof looked like before cleaning and coating. I had $250 and a busy day in the Arizona sun for this project, but it was worth it.

I should have bought more

I wish I had listened to other reviewers who said they had to buy a lot less than recommended. These people must have worn it so thin it almost makes no sense. You can always put on extra coats if you buy too many, and you'll be screwed if you start and realize you're buying too few. I prefer to ride on rubber than on regular paint. You don't have to worry about it rolling down the sides of your RV. However, it rolls easily with the help of a regular paint roller. My roof wasn't bad to begin…

Good product! for cleaning and maintenance

This product was used on an original 2005 Fleetwood Fifth Wheel rubber roof which was in fairly poor condition. Overall, this product has worked amazingly! Preparation and application are very simple, as described on the can (see also YouTube video - Motorhome Dicor rubber roof system). My only goal was to get it all done in one day - applied in the fall and the time for completion was near so that there would be enough light throughout the day Make sure you start as early as possible to ensure

Worked and looked great initially but burst after 3 days due to some rain?

I used this two piece product on my 22ft RV in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I worked very hard on the whole preparation. work according to Dicors instructions and as shown in their videos. I did a final roof cleaning 30 minutes after applying the cleaner/activator using a 3500psi pressure washer. The roof looked white and was very clean. I then waited three hours for the roof to dry in 75 degree sun and 10 to 15 mph wind. It went very well and after the second shift, which was finished around 4:00 p.m…

A good product. My 5th wheel roof was in bad shape.

Good product. The roof of my fifth wheel was in bad shape. Next to the house is a 12 year old caravan. Because of the heat of over 102 degrees, I worked two hours a day early in the morning for three days to clean the roof. On the 4th day I sprayed the cleaner activator with a new garden sprayer and washed it off under pressure after half an hour. There was still a lot of dirt on the roof. I ordered more activator and then used a small hand sprayer on all fours. I waited another half hour and…

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some drawbacks

I have previously used dicor self-leveling sealer to replace vents and dicor non-sag for trim and seams and to create a condensation/rain channel. from the price of the apartment. I woke up early and scrubbed the roof with a soft car wash brush, warm water, and dish soap in a blue dawn. I then used the high pressure nozzle on my garden hose and really hosed everything down until the water was clear, no more gray water or visible particles. Then I used a soft bristle broom and brushed off the…

cases good. Follow the directions!

I've been watching videos, reading guides and reading reviews. In the non positive reviews it seems that the instructions were followed incorrectly. What did these people expect? In a few days I completed this project with the help of my 15 year old daughter. We chose one day. If we didn't live in South Florida this would be possible, but our wet weather affects drying and salting. We did this in November when the weather was a lot less humid than in summer. We coated a 28ft trailer, cleaned…
