Review on πŸ—οΈ 1 Gallon White EPDM Rubber Roof Coating - Dicor RPCRC1 by Steven Lane

cases good. Follow the directions!

I've been watching videos, reading guides and reading reviews. In the non positive reviews it seems that the instructions were followed incorrectly. What did these people expect? In a few days I completed this project with the help of my 15 year old daughter. We chose one day. If we didn't live in South Florida this would be possible, but our wet weather affects drying and salting. We did this in November when the weather was a lot less humid than in summer. We coated a 28ft trailer, cleaned the roof and applied 2 coats of roof coating in one day. Finished around 4 p.m. The next day the roof was still a little sticky. Dry to the touch but sticky when walked on. After a few days it was completely healed. We wanted to apply a 3rd coat to even out some areas and because we still had enough product to apply another coat. After 4 days I removed the roof and applied the 3rd layer. The next day it was completely dry and hardened. This coating covers the rubber roof well and I believe it will stop those weird white and black streaks running down the trailer creating streaks. Be sure to completely cover the sides of the trailer before cleaning. We used a roll of Visquin and Home Depot tape. A lot comes from the roof. I didn't have a pressure washer to clean the roof so I cleaned it with a long handled brush and a heavy duty hose nozzle after soaking the cleaner/activator for about 30 minutes. Some dirt seeped through our cover, washed off the roof, but not bad. After lifting and re-rinsing and re-rinsing, we removed all the plastic covering and washed the sides to let the roof dry. A lengthy process, lots of flights of stairs up and down but not difficult to use and works as described. We used 2 gallons for a 28 foot trailer.
