When you buy this you will receive a pack of standard sized 3 amp glass fuses for your cigarette lighter socket or an in-line fuse holder with a 3 amp fuse. I use this for off-road applications where there are no gas stations. I have a 13 gallon aluminum tank that I use to fuel my truck. It took 20 minutes to transfer 13 gallons and only got slightly warm after about 10 gallons. Do not let the pump run dry, it stays cold and is lubricated by the fuel flowing through it. It will also work with a 2 amp fuse but will pump a little slower.
