Review on 🚚 AMP Research 75407-01A BedStep2 Retractable Truck Bed Side Step for Chevrolet Silverado & GMC Sierra (2014-2019 1500, 2015-2019 2500/3500) - Black by Zach Sornsin

I bought two of these for my 2018 GMC Sierra. The first one took about an hour to install. The second side (next day) took about 20 minutes. Very easy to install. Rivets require a 17/32 drill bit, which I didn't have. I used a size larger than half an inch and a masonry bit to open up the hole a bit. The instructions say to tighten the rivet nut to 20 ft-lbs. but they turned in the hole when the screw was tightened. I used a battery powered impact wrench to tighten them (not too tight like the instructions say). I couldn't find a torque wrench for the bolts during final assembly and had to use a small 1/4" socket to tighten. I have a 6.5 foot bed with factory footboards. I needed to move the base plate closer to the wheel, like on the picture in the instructions for the 5.5ft bed to avoid hitting the steps Looks perfect.
